Snapsflow Solutions

We allow transaction-essential information stored within or created by an organization’s enterprise systems, applications, or databases to be captured, transformed and reliably delivered, enabling organizations to streamline their workflows.  Images from Scanned or faxed documents, text files or structures messages etc. can be retrieved from customers, suppliers and business partners and can be viewed, routed, stored and retrieved using SnapsFlow.  Best practice work flows can be easily supported with technology designed to institutionalize your processes.

Engine

The Snapsflow Engine is the foundation on which all of Snapsflow technology is built.  This Enterprise Application Integration engine (EAI engine) allows us to very quickly connect and build both internal and external interfaces between dissimilar systems or silos of information.  The Snapsflow  Engine runs in a “lights out” data center type of environment – there is no end user functionality explicit within the engine except for the administration tools.  Interfaces can be built with no or a minimal amount of custom programming.

Workflow

Our workflow solutions rely on the Snapsflow Engine to send and receive information, based on rules defined specifically for each customer environment. The Snapsflow  workflow system is entirely database driven. Through the administrative user interface, we can create workflow processes around document images, emails, office documents, XML and many other document and data types. Each item in a workflow has a lifecycle. A lifecycle is made up of queues, where work is done. There are three types of work:

  •  User  - human interaction is required
  • System - performed automatically by the computer
  • Timer work - performed by the computer at specified time intervals or defined elapsed time

The generic nature of the Workflow system means that it can be used in almost any environment where humans have to take actions on discreet sets of data.

SNAPSFLow Communication Preferences

This solution component stores information specific to individuals. The Communication Preferences system is a way for theEngine to make decisions based on the information coming in, where it is being delivered, what is being done to/with it and other client specific factors such as time of day.   There is a user interface for managing the Communication Preferences in addition to a method for bulk uploading data.

Snapsflow Integrated Scheduling

The Integrated Scheduling system provides an intuitive user interface and works in conjunction with either the Engine or the Workflow system or both.  Scheduling enables business rules to be applied dynamically based on date and time.  For example the integrated scheduling system can be used, in conjunction with the Engine, to make decisions on where and when information will be delivered.  In the workflow environment, the integrated scheduling solution can deal with teams of individuals that are dealing with time sensitive tasks, for example you night have a full staff working during normal business hours and a reduced staff after hours.  The scheduling component can be used to shift the workloads based on the time of day, weekday, weekend or user defined rules.

Benefits:

  • Gaps in coverage are automatically flagged by the system
  • Coverage can be based on:
    • Location, date and time of day
      • Configurable templates for Weekday, Weekend, Holiday and Special dates
      • Eliminates creating schedules for every day of the year
    • Easily manages planned or unplanned staffing  fluctuations
      • Filters orders based on dynamic rules
    • Integrated with your internal workflow and processes
    • View orders across teams for enhanced workload management

Snapsflow  Reporting

The Reporting component can utilize transactional data that happens either in the Engine, Workflow or both. Data captured by the Engine or Holon workflow can be analyzed and presented in a form that will allow you to make informed business decisions regarding both compliance and accountability. Detailed transaction logs provide a means for determining who did what and when, with regards to items passing through a business process. They also give management a tool for monitoring productivity of persons involved in the business process. Bottlenecks in the process can be identified and resolved or productivity issues can be identified and the appropriate actions can be made to resolve the issue.

Benefits:
  • Productivity reporting allows you to gain insight into such things as average time to process orders and number of orders processed allowing you to monitor your performance against others on you team, individual performance or performance on your staff as a whole.
  • The performance dashboard gives you real time insight into the activity levels of your operations.
  •  Reports can be automatically generated and delivered based on a trigger event, or a time schedule.

Snapsflow Desktop Integration

Holon Desktop Integration is a component that works only with the Workflow system. It allows workflow users to interact, at the desk top level, with existing applications in their environment. These applications may not have integration points that are easy to integrate with and desktop integration is a way to move data back and forth between a desktop application and our workflow solution. There are typically no modifications required by the client or the other application in order to make this work.

CollaborNet Cloud

End Point Appliance

(EPA)The Holon End Point Appliance is a small (4 inches X 6 inches) computer preconfigured the EPA Software. You simply plug the appliance into the power and connects to their network.  The device automatically registers with the cloud and is in return sent a package of confirming data.  You can immediately begin sending and receiving packages of data. The EPA is connected to the host system by a User Interface that allows the user to pull together packages of data from their system of process and securely transmit them. The Holon Appliance Software has a series of listeners that enable it to accept information in a myriad of ways. You can connect through HL7, file drops, print streams, XML, Web Services calls or whatever way your system of process pushes data to other systems. The Appliance has its own private and public security keys that it uses to exchange data with other End Point Appliances that are part of the network and with the cloud where we house the Holon Solution Stack that consists of The Holon Engine, The Holon Workflow, Holon Preferences Business Logic Matrix, the Holon Data Scheduling Logic Matrix, and The Holon Reporting Matrix. The cloud serves as the staging area where the data packages manipulated and funneled to the appropriate parties in a form and with their desired content to be ingested in the manner required by the receiving system of process. This can be as simple as a file drop, PDF, to as complicated to pushing discrete data elements into the system of process. To review the Holon End Point Appliance receives data from the system of process, assembles the outbound package, defines the type of message, addresses the message, transmits the message securely, verifies receipt, disassembles inbound traffic, and pushes to systems of process by whatever means they can accept.

Collaboration Improves Lives

This simple axiom drives everything we do. It shapes how we approach problems, execute solutions and measure results. It’s not enough to be a real-time organization; you need to facilitate real-time collaboration. We do this using the Adaptive Exchange Methodology.

The Adaptive Exchange Methodology uses a stack of technologies called the Snapsflow Framework. Each technology is focused on overcoming specific challenges in achieving Real Time Collaboration. The Holon Framework was built, from the ground up, to be configured into combinations that lower the technical and human hurdles to collaboration while optimizing strategic agility and operational efficiency.
